PROCESSING OF STONES
The use and processing of precious stones represents an ancient art that has existed since the dawn of mankind when man made the first bracelet in history that was found in a cave in South Africa and dated back to 75,000 years ago. Since then, man has never ceased to embellish and embellish himself through the use and processing of precious stones, so generating and animating light, reflections and splendours. The artist Riccardo Zancano skilfully and skilfully combines this art which consists in the processing of precious stones with another art, equally ancient and equally generating and animating light which is painting.
The entire process of processing semi-precious and semi-precious stones is essentially manual and based on the abrasion process. When the stones are cut with diamond blades of the raw piece, the piece is formed and made to measure. The procedure therefore consists of an artisanal skill where creativity implies and is accompanied by accuracy and meticulousness.
