Description:

This painting of religious character was commissioned to me on occasion of the 2016 Jubilee.

The motherly figure of the virgin, lit by sacred light, symbolizes an act of Mercy towards those in sore need through the offer of a piece of bread.

The colors used are bright apt to render this work more pure and suitable in an ecclesiastic context.
