Description: Work belonging to the Trilogy Proof in color.
First painting made with oil on canvas technique dated 2005/2006, the result of 12 months of intense work, from which the artist was inspired to apply semi-precious stones attributable to a very specific meaning. The black onyx was placed on the eye of the predator, while the green garnet (life expectancy) inserted in the eye of the insect.
Furthermore, the approach to painting allowed the painter to experiment with the mixture of pigments, using mainly primary colors and to marry in the meticulous search for detail.
Although the title is simple and essential, the subject is not trivial. The insect that is captured and eaten by the predator creates a life cycle in the food chain of all living beings on our planet.
