LIVING TOGETHER
Title: “Living Together”
Technique: Oil on canvas and semi-precious stones (Cornelian, Onyx and black Tourmaline)
Dimensions: 60×60 cm
Year: 11/2017
Description:
The three subjects in this painting set a relationship between man and animals. The many similarities resulting from the comparison show that man could live happily if he avoided the causes of hatred deriving from unsound reasons such as ethnic difference or color of skin. A polar Bear can eat a snow Owl and a snow Owl can eat a Lemming without impairing the prevailing perfect balance of nature.
Animals possess a sound instinct from which human beings should learn how to improve common living among human society.
The particular effect of the Own’s eyes been is due to the fact that they have been realized as a micro-sculpture, the pupil, made of Onyx, has been polished and inserted into the Cornelian living to the whole a more realistic effect.
